Villager ordered to stay away from booze after attack on daughter

A Villager has been ordered to complete anger management and not to consume alcohol in order to avoid prosecution in connection with a drunken attack on her daughter.

Lisa Lynn Zilveti, 57, of the Village of St. Charles, has been allowed to enter into a pre-trial intervention contract that will allow her to avoid prosecution on a charge of domestic battery, if she successfully completes the terms of the contract. The contract calls on Zilveti to complete eight hours of anger management training, seek a substance abuse evaluation, not to consume alcohol and to have no violent contact with her daughter.

Deputies responded to Zilveti’s home on July 12 as the result of a 911 hangup call. When deputies arrived, they spoke to Zilveti’s daughter and a companion who were in the driveway.

The daughter said Zilveti slapped her “on the right side of her face multiple times” during an argument. Zilveti wanted her daughter to leave, according to an arrest report. The male witness backed up the daughter’s account of the altercation…
