A Lady Lake man was arrested for driving while his license was revoked after being stopped for speeding with a trailer.
An officer stopped 33-year-old Pedro Jimenez-Mendez in a pickup truck towing a trailer northbound on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, according to an arrest report from the Fruitland Park Police Department. Radar had clocked his speed at 52 miles per hour in a 45-mph zone.
After walking up to the driver’s side window, the officer took a Mexico ID card from Jimenez-Mendez. This was used to check his driving history and reveal his license had been revoked for DUI on May 5, 2021. It was also suspended on June 7, 2021, the report said…
