A Romanian woman who was convicted of driving under the influence earlier this year has been arrested after she was caught back behind the wheel.
Rachel Elissa Yanofsky, 34, who lives at 13686 Trend Terrace in Lady Lake, was driving a white Honda at about 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 southbound on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 when an officer ran a license plate check and found the vehicle’s registered owner had a suspended license.
Yanofsky, who previously lived in the Village of Mira Mesa, lost her driver’s license this year in a drunk driving case. She was also put on probation for one year and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service.
