With Kroger ending its home-grocery delivery in Florida in January 2026, customers in Central Florida will need to find new ways to get their groceries delivered. Here are three alternatives, with breakdowns of their membership costs and per-use fees.
One of the most popular options is Instacart. Their Instacart+membership costs $99 annually (or $9.99/month) for free delivery on grocery orders of $10 or more. Without the membership, delivery fees vary by store, with delivery for eligible stores typically starting around $3.99 for orders over $10. Even as a member, you’ll still pay a “service fee” that varies depending on your order. The grocery stores included will vary by location but may include Publix, Aldi, Key Foods, Sprouts, The Fresh Market, Bravo Supermarkets, Earth Fare, IGA, Costco, BJ’s, Sam’s Club, and Target. Other options besides groceries include drug stores, retail stores, and restaurant deliveries through Uber Eats. Some stores charge higher prices than they would in stores, but not all do. I’ve had Instacart since the COVID-19 lockdowns and am happy with it.
