An Ocala resident just claimed a $1 million prize from a scratch-off purchased at a local convenience store, joining several other local residents who have claimed similar prizes in 2025.
The winning ticket was purchased at Quick King Food Store #12, which is located at 7947 W Highway 40 in Ocala. The individual who purchased the ticket claimed the winnings last Wednesday, December 3.
The winner chose to receive a $606,700 payout. Although the winner’s city of residence is disclosed as Ocala, his/her identity is exempt from disclosure under Florida Statute 24.1051. According to that law, the names of lottery winners who claim prizes “of $250,000 or greater” are temporarily exempt from public disclosure for 90 days.
