A tailgater on County Road 466A was arrested after a traffic stop.
Jarvis Lamar Webster, 38, of Wildwood, was driving a maroon Honda Crosstour at about 4 p.m. Saturday when an officer observed he was tailgating another vehicle, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
During a traffic stop, Webster admitted he does not have a license and soon became argumentative with the officer. The officer attempted to place Webster in handcuffs, but he resisted the officer’s efforts and threw himself to the ground.
A computer check revealed that Webster’s license had been suspended for failure to meet court-ordered financial obligations. The officer also found that Webster had been convicted of driving while license suspended in 2015 and 2019…
