An apparently obsessed Villager attacked her gal pal who refused to resume their romantic relationship.
Julie Kaye Greene, 64, was being held without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center following her arrest Wednesday by Wildwood police on multiple charges.
Greene went to the home of a woman in the Village of Monarch Grove and attacked her. The woman had gone to great lengths to try end their relationship.
The two women began their relationship in 2022, but the other woman discovered that Greene became “controlling and manipulative.” The woman told Greene that she wanted to end their relationship because of her religion, according to a report from the Wildwood Police Department. The woman told police that Greene responded to the breakup by threatening to contact her family and friends and disclosing her sexual orientation. They continued an on-again off-again relationship, even as the woman continued to tried to distance herself from Greene.
