U.S. Immigration and Customs enforcement placed a hold on a Guatemalan who was arrested for driving without a license at a busy shopping plaza in The Villages.
A deputy observed 28-year-old Brayan Adrian Guevara driving a white Ford pickup truck east on County Road 466 in The Villages around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Law enforcement databases showed he did not have a valid driver’s license, leading to a traffic stop at Southern Trace Plaza. Guevara advised that he did not have a license nor had he ever gotten one. Dispatch confirmed his license had been suspended indefinitely for failure to pay traffic fines, with notice given on June 3, 2024, the report said…
