A woman already classified as a habitual traffic offender has been sentenced to 10 days in jail following her arrest earlier this year at a busy shopping plaza in The Villages.
Isabel Carmen Nadal, 29, of Belleview was arrested in September for her involvement in a crash at the entrance to Buffalo Ridge Plaza. She was released from the Sumter County Detention Center that same day after posting $2,500 bond. However, her guilty conviction landed her back in jail on Thursday morning for the first day of her sentence.
On the day of the crash, she told law enforcement that she knew she was in trouble as soon as it happened. Not only had her license been suspended, but she is also classified as a habitual traffic…..
