OCALA, FL. (352today) – Meet Georgia, the longest resident at Marion County Animal Services. Despite arriving a little more than a year ago as a stray, Georgia is as joyful as ever. She anxiously awaits a forever home and has added it to her Christmas wish list.
With a tail that never stops wagging and a playful spirit, it is hard to believe Georgia is 6 years old. When this pretty lady gets excited, she does not run, she hops. As she hops with enthusiasm, she recharges by lying on the floor belly side up before continuing to bounce to her heart’s content. Among Georgia’s endearing qualities, she believes she’s a lap dog, so the term “personal space” does not exist in her pup vocabulary. With a balanced combination of zoomies and asking for affection, there is no doubt that Georgia is 70 pounds of pure love.
