Two Men Arrested for Armed Robbery of Summerfield Dollar General

MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Sergeant Jordyn Batts arrested 20-year-old Christopher Collins Jr. (B/M, DOB: 01/18/2005) for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and two counts of Robbery with a Firearm. She also arrested 26-year-old Nicholas Davis (B/M, DOB: 02/24/1999) for Principal to Robbery with a Firearm.

On December 12, 2025, several deputies responded to the Dollar General located at 15090 S Highway 441, in Summerfield, to a report of a robbery. Deputies made contact with an employee who reported that a man, later identified as Collins, entered the store at approximately 9:37 p.m. while wielding a firearm. He threatened a clerk at the store and demanded that she give him money from the cash register and safe while holding her at gunpoint. Collins also robbed two customers at the store and threatened to shoot and kill them. After stealing $2,445.99, Collins fled with the money. A portion of the stolen money was affixed with a tracker that led law enforcement to Collins and Davis’s home, located at 16261 SE 89th Court.

A search warrant was obtained and executed at their home, during which time a variety of clothing, ski masks, gloves, and the firearm used during the robbery were located. Sergeant Batts also recovered $2,432 of the stolen money. During an interview with Collins, he admitted to committing the robbery, as well as a prior robbery in Marion County and one in Sumter County. Collins also advised that Davis drove him to the Dollar General and parked on the side of the roadway while he robbed the store…
