A Villager has been given one week to remove debris from his property, or he will face daily fines.
The property owned by Stephen McNeil at 540 St. Andrews Blvd. on the Historic Side of The Villages was the subject of a deed compliance hearing this week at the District Office at Brownwood.
A complaint was received Sept. 23 by Community Standards regarding debris throughout the yard and carport. Photographs presented as evidence at the hearing showed golf carts, a kayak, exercise equipment, chairs, a fan, a ladder and other items around the exterior of the home.
Attempts by Community Standards to contact the homeowner have been unsuccessful. Phone numbers on file were not accepting calls and emails were returned as undeliverable. In November, a notice of the upcoming hearing was sent to the homeowner by regular mail and by certified mail…
