I moved to Ocala 9 years ago and live in a 55+ community, (big mistake). Since moving, my HOA fee has increased by about 30-40%, property tax about 10-15% insurance, both auto & home.
While all these increases have taken effect, our Social Security has only gone up about 3% per year.
With all these increases, our property value has declined, thus causing us to move from this “paradise” to a more affordable place…
