Walmart plans to open 4 new stores in Florida in early 2026

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Walmart, one of the world’s largest retailers, is looking to get even bigger as it plans to open five more stores in early 2026.

A Walmart spokesperson recently confirmed to KNWA/FOX24 that the company intends to open four Supercenters and one Neighborhood Market at the beginning of the new year.

These are the new locations:

  • Supercenter in Eastvale, California
  • Supercenter in Apollo Beach, Florida
  • Supercenter in Jacksonville, Florida
  • Supercenter in The Villages, Florida
  • Neighborhood Market in Ocala, Florida

The spokesperson did not provide exact opening dates for the stores; however, social media posts from Walmart or city officials say the Apollo Beach location will open on Jan. 14, and the Eastvale store will open in mid-January…
