An employee of Chili’s who admitted to drinking four margaritas during the restaurant’s Christmas party was arrested after crashing into two cars in the parking lot of the restaurant in The Villages.
Olivia Elena Munoz, 21, of Leesburg, was driving a lifted Chevy Silverado pickup in the wee hours Thursday when she struck two separate vehicles in the parking lot of the restaurant, located at 1206 Avenida Central, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. A witness called 911 to report what had happened.
When police arrived on the scene, they found Munoz seated behind the wheel of the pickup. An officer took the keys out of the ignition.
Munoz’s speech was slurred and it appeared she had been drinking. She agreed to participate in field sobriety exercises, but noted that she is blind in one eye. Her poor performance in the exercises led police to conclude she had been driving while impaired…
