LifeStream patient allegedly hits man in the face for calling him racial slur

A Clermont man will appear in court for allegedly hitting someone in the face for calling him a racial slur at LifeStream Behavioral Center in Leesburg.

An officer responded to LifeStream, located at 2020 Tally Rd., for a battery involving 31-year-old Aldrick Markus Jones and 44-year-old Adam Michael Goodman around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to a case report from the Leesburg Police Department.

An employee advised that Jones approached Goodman, who was sitting alone, and verbally argued with him. Jones claimed Goodman called him a racial slur before striking him in the face. Goodman tried to get away by pushing back, the report said.

Goodman later corroborated the employee’s statement. The report noted he sustained dark blue bruising and swollenness around his left eye…
