A Leesburg man will appear in court for refusing to get out of his vehicle during a traffic stop behind Ruby Tuesday.
Officers stopped 41-year-old Moise Didieu and a female passenger near Ruby Tuesday, located at 9616 U.S. Hwy. 441, around 7:25 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, according to a case report from the Leesburg Police Department. The vehicle slowly rolled until it finally stopped behind the restaurant, and law enforcement noticed Didieu acted suspiciously during the encounter.
He became defensive when told a K-9 would be sniffing around the vehicle, making several comments about being upset with police contacts he had in the past.
