A Leesburg woman will appear in court next week for several open containers of alcohol found in her vehicle despite being underage.
An officer stopped 20-year-old Kiana Fogah in a silver Kia Forte at the intersection of South Bay Street and Lakeshore Drive at 1:45 a.m., Dec. 3, according to a case report from the Eustis Police Department. Her vehicle had no headlights or taillights illuminating the road.
While speaking with Fogah, the officer noticed she seemed extremely nervous. Her driving behavior and level of anxiety led him to asking her to step out of the vehicle so he could investigate.
