A Villager will not be prosecuted in a battle with a woman over a vodka bottle.
It has been announced by the prosecutor’s office that 60-year-old Michael David Pion, who lives in the Katherine Villas in the Village of Caroline, will not be prosecuted in connection with his arrest in October. Last month, it appeared Pion and the woman had reconciled as they had asked the court to modify a “no contact” order between them.
When deputies arrived at the couple’s home on Oct. 24, an intoxicated woman claimed that Pion had kicked her in the rib cage. She had suffered a laceration to her bottom lip and contusions on her left eye and cheek. She was transported by ambulance to UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital in The Villages.
