I absolutely agree with Dan Meyers about allowing artificial turf to replace grass. We Villagers are trapped in an endless cycle of watering and paying out to Dean’s or Massey or whoever for lawn mowing, lawn spraying, etc. Allowing artificial turf would also cut down on the number of lawn complaints.
There are some Villages that allow full rock landscaping, but most do not. Why is that limited to only some areas? As a new resident, I’m sure this issue has been raised several if not many times in the past. My question is simply what are the objections by the “powers that be” to allowing artificial grass lawns or full rock landscaping? If there are legitimate reasons against these, we Villagers are entitled to know. Since it is just a rule, there must be a way to amend it…
