A Villager barricaded himself in his home for several hours after an alleged attack on his wife.
Tyler Gentry McKee, 35, was arrested at the conclusion of the standoff on Dec. 23 at his home at 4985 McLaughlin Terrace in the Village of Chitty Chatty.
McKee’s wife said that her husband, whom she married earlier this year after meeting him through a dating application, broke into her locked bedroom, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. She said she and her husband began sleeping in separate bedrooms in August after experiencing marital issues.
She said McKee grabbed her by the ankles and dragged her from her bedroom. She was able to break free, reenter her bedroom and call 911. She was on the phone with dispatch when she learned that officers had arrived at the home…
