‘Flamingo’ sculpture now part of Ocala’s permanent collection after artist’s donation

A 9-foot-tall, 440-pound avian sculpture that was only supposed to be passing through Tuscawilla Park has officially made Ocala its permanent home.

The Ocala City Council voted to accept the massive sculpture, titled “P. Ruber’s Story,” during its regular meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
