Man on four-wheeler allegedly displays firearm when told to leave residence

A Leesburg man was arrested after allegedly driving by a home on a four-wheeler and displaying a firearm when told to leave.

A deputy responded to threats made by 23-year-old Bricen Lee Schofield at an undisclosed Lake County residence at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4 according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

The male complainant advised that Schofield drove by his residence on a green four-wheeler that day. When told to leave, Schofield threatened to come back with “something for him,” the report said.

The complainant expressed concern for his safety due to a similar incident from three days prior. Schofield had come by on a four-wheeler and made threats then, too, standing up to show a firearm in his waistband. A witness described it as a glock handgun, the report said…
