A Leesburg man was arrested for battery after allegedly throwing a pile of clothes at his ex-girlfriend during an argument.
Officers responded to a battery at the residence of 25-year-old Brian Anthony Cooper and his ex-girlfriend around 3:05 p.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
The ex-girlfriend advised that he came home and asked to talk about their relationship. She refused to speak, instead using her personal cell phone in silence. She ultimately went outside while he grabbed his things, the report said.
While doing so, he demanded she tell him where his phone charger was. She remained silent until he stood in front of her and waved his hand in front of her face. She then stated she did not know where it was, which frustrated him to the point of threatening to destroy the place if she did not get it, the report said…
