A Wildwood woman was arrested for battery after allegedly slapping her boyfriend until he “saw stars” for breaking a porch pillar.
A Sumter County sheriff’s deputy was driving south on Powell Road when she heard yelling and saw 38-year-old Pamela Michelle Newsom running to the street from her home around 7:35 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. She then screamed, “Get this man out of here.”
The deputy proceeded to drive over to Newsom’s residence and separate her from her boyfriend of five months. Newsom advised that her juvenile nephew was playing around with her boyfriend but hit him in his groin area. The boyfriend stood up from his seat on the porch and punched the archway pillar, the report said.
Newsom responded by punching him in the back of his head and face. She stated this happened right before she waved down the deputy, the report said…
