A Summerfield man rang in the new year with over $67,000 in prize money after redeeming a lottery ticket that he purchased at a gas station just north of The Villages on New Year’s Eve.
Michel Marvin Kempink claimed the $67,145.53 top prize from the Florida Lottery’s Fantasy 5 evening drawing held on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.
According to lottery records, Kempink purchased the winning Quick Pick ticket at the “Summerfield BP” located at 9945 SE Highway 42 in Summerfield.
