My wife and I moved here 12 years ago with my son about to start high school coming from South Florida, where I was born and raised.
We wanted to get away from the big city and all the problems that come with it. It was so beautiful to look out at the farms. The prairies, open areas, wooded areas, and the trees lining the streets are being replaced by huge construction projects, destroying 300 to 400 year-old trees, displacing wildlife to be hit by cars on the overcrowded streets.
Greed is what is the motivation, without thought of what it has done to this once beautiful town…
