Villager’s bad behavior gets her permanently banned from restaurant

A Villager has been permanently banned from a restaurant at a town square due to her bad behavior.

Marrian Ann Zambrano, 71, who lives on the Historic Side of The Villages, appeared in Lake County Court on Wednesday and pleaded no contest to charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing. She was placed on probation for six months and ordered to pay $548 in fines and court costs. In addition, she has been permanently banned from Bella Vita Italian Steakhouse at Spanish Springs Town Square.

Zambrano had been arrested Jan. 6 after she was found to be “highly intoxicated, acting belligerent, using profane/foul language, and refusing to leave” the restaurant, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. When she was asked to leave, she remained at the outdoor bar “making the employees and other customers uncomfortable,” the report said.

When an officer approached the Mississippi retiree, who had been arrested on Christmas Eve 2018 after she allegedly groped a younger man outside RJ Gators at Lake Sumter Landing, she began gathering her belongings as if she was preparing to leave. She lost her balance and stumbled. The officer had to catch Zambrano to prevent her from falling. When she eventually regained her balance, she tried to walk back into Bella Vita.
