The driver of a garbage truck was injured when his truck overturned in a crash early Friday morning in The Villages.
The crash occurred shortly after 4 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 466A and Morse Boulevard, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
The Waste Management trash truck was T-boned by a Toyota Camry which had been northbound on Morse Boulevard. The driver of the Toyota Camry claimed he had experienced an “equipment issue” which prevented him from stopping at the red light at the intersection.
