A driver suffered laceration to the head in a crash in a busy intersection in The Villages.
The driver of a Toyota Highlander was traveling south on Morse Boulevard at 9:18 a.m. Thursday when the vehicle was struck by a Toyota Avalon which was northbound on Morse Boulevard and attempting to make a left turn onto County Road 466A, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s office.
The driver of the Toyota Highlander was transported by ambulance to the emergency room clinic at Trailwinds Village in Wildwood.
