After Ocala-News.com reported that a new dog bar is under construction in east Ocala, multiple residents wrote in to share opinions about the topic. Here are a couple of those letters:
“I think it’s a great idea. Something else you should just look into is I’m from St Petersburg and a friend of ours opened a place down there called Mutts and Martinis. The unique and cool thing about it, is that it is similar to what you’re doing: Half of it is a bar/restaurant, and the other half is a gigantic pool which is great for the dogs. All the dogs who love to go swimming and love water because there’s not much water around here, if I were you, I would at least take some time to either visit the place or go online and check it out. It’s very popular and a lot of people that are dog lovers go there. It wouldn’t hurt for you to review it and check it out, I think you’ll like it. Thank you for your time.” – Kate Cling, Ocala
