U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed a hold on a Guatemalan who has been living in the United States for two years and was arrested in Wildwood for driving without a license.
An officer observed 32-year-old Luis Gustavo Caal-Pop in a gray GMC pickup truck northbound on Main Street around 12:20 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. A check of the vehicle’s registration showed the registered owner did not have a valid license, and its tag was expired. The officer stopped Caal-Pop near Maddox Street.
Caal-Pop subsequently advised that he did not have a driver’s license and had never been issued one. He added that he had arrived in the United States about two years ago and currently lived in Orlando. A check of his driving history confirmed he had no license or any local history, the report said…
