I am closing on my house in The Villages. NOT buying, but selling and I can’t wait. The bond, maintenance, amenities and HIGH taxes. Add them all up and you get $9,500 per year, divide that by 12 and BAM it’s $791 per month, not including your house payment, water, power, gas, pest control, lawn maintenance, cable and internet.
I sold my house and looking to build on Lake Panasoffkee so I can stay close to my parents who have been in The Villages for 23 years and they say if we were to do it all again, we would not retire here. Broken promises about not building south of 44 and long waits to see doctors and the traffic in the winter months is crazy…
