A Summerfield woman stopped with a suspended license was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court.
A deputy saw 54-year-old Glendina Jo Flores driving a red Ford Expedition with a cracked windshield in Summerfield around 5:45 p.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Due to this, he stopped her in the 8600 block of South U.S. Hwy. 441.
Upon speaking with Flores, the deputy learned she had an active warrant for failure to appear for possession of cocaine, give false name or ID to law enforcement officer and driving while license suspended. She was subsequently removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest, the report said.
A check of her driving history revealed her license had been suspended on Aug. 13, 2025, and suspended on Aug. 21, 2025. She was aware of this and stated it was due to her failing to keep insurance on her vehicle, the report said…
