Ocala man gets 10 years for stealing $13K in jewelry from Paddock Mall, robbing Family Dollar at gunpoint

An Ocala man, who robbed a local Family Dollar at gunpoint and stole thousands of dollars in jewelry from a store inside the Paddock Mall, will spend more than a decade in federal prison.

On Tuesday, 46-year-old Danny Anzardo was sentenced to 10 years and 10 months behind bars for interference with commerce by robbery and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a violent crime. He was also ordered to forfeit the stolen jewelry that was seized from him at the time of his arrest.

Anzardo had pleaded guilty to the charges in September 2025…
