A member of one of the most prominent families in The Villages area has sold a sprawling, 7.8-acre estate in Wildwood for $1.25 million.
Matthew Yoder, a nephew of Terry Yoder and a former figure within the family’s extensive development enterprises, and his wife, Jennifer, sold the property at 2055 East County Road 462 on Dec. 29, 2025. The estate was purchased by Benjamin and Jessica Deubel, according to a deed filed with the Sumter County Clerk of Courts’ Office.
The property reflects a high standard of construction and design, featuring three distinct residences and extensive facilities. The centerpiece is a custom-built, 2,562-square-foot pool home constructed in 2014.
It features soaring ceilings, a chef’s kitchen with custom wood cabinetry, and a dramatic floor-to-ceiling stacked stone gas fireplace. The outdoor living area is expansive, boasting a screened pool and spa, a built-in slide, and a full outdoor kitchen.
The estate also includes a massive 6,000-square-foot barn equipped with solar panels. Inside the barn structure is a second, luxury residence with 2,520 square feet of living space featuring exposed beams and modern finishes. The remaining barn space serves as a workshop large enough to house RVs and heavy equipment.
Finally, a fully independent manufactured home is also located on the grounds.
The 7.8-acre compound is free of HOA restrictions and deed restrictions, according to an online property listing…
