OCALA, FL (352today.com) – A Florida-based breakfast and brunch chain is expanding into Ocala, bringing new life to a recently closed restaurant along one of the city’s busiest corridors.
Peach Valley Cafe will open its 10th location at the former Bob Evans site at 3535 SW College Rd. The Bob Evans permanently closed the SR 200 restaurant in early January. Property records show Holm Real Estate LLC purchased the building for $2.9 million. The cafe is operated by Eric Holm, who also owns 18 Golden Corral franchises in the region.
Peach Valley Cafe, founded about 25 years ago, is known for its Southern-style breakfast and lunch offerings, including buttermilk biscuits, chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict, omelets and other brunch favorites.
