Large-scale drug trafficking ring dismantled in Central Florida

LAKELAND, Fla. (WWSB) – A drug trafficking operation across Central Florida has ended with 51 arrests and the seizure of more than 70 pounds of meth and 10 pounds of fentanyl, the state attorney general’s office said Friday.

The operation targeted members of the Valentine Bloods gang, Attorney General James Uthmeier said at a news conference in Lakeland.

“This was a highly organized, fentanyl-pushing enterprise operating in Central Florida that had ties all the way to California,” he said. “We will continue dismantling these organizations from the top down.”…
