The Leesburg Police Department’s Narcotics Unit and Special Operations Division executed a successful operation Thursday, resulting in the arrest of 27-year-old Xavier D. McCovery.
Undercover detectives had observed McCovery entering a house in the Stock Subdivision. The officers were aware that McCovery had active warrants for his arrest. These warrants included charges of fleeing to elude and driving while license suspended or revoked, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, and felony possession of marijuana.
