INVERNESS, Fla. – Four teenagers were arrested Sunday afternoon, February 22nd, following an armed robbery at a Citgo gas station in Inverness, where deputies say suspects stole approximately $1,500 worth of vape products before fleeing the scene.
Citrus County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded around 2 p.m. to the Citgo station at 79 N. Florida Avenue after receiving reports of an armed robbery. Investigators determined that Joshua Robertson, 19, and Jamison Tanner, 16, entered the store armed with a firearm and confronted a clerk and a witness behind the counter. The pair allegedly took merchandise and left within about two minutes, an incident captured on surveillance video.
