Second round of rain expected across Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – A cold front pushing toward Central Florida will increase rain chances up to 40–50% from Saturday morning into the early afternoon.

Showers will be scattered, but a few storms could pack a punch, especially across parts of Osceola County and Brevard County where a marginal risk for isolated strong to severe storms is in place.

Any stronger storms could bring bursts of heavy rain, wind gusts up to 50 mph, frequent lightning, small hail around the size of coins, and even a brief tornado can’t be ruled out…
