Man having ‘violent outburst’ attacks customer at local 7-Eleven

A Lady Lake man was arrested for battery after allegedly attacking a customer at 7-Eleven.

An officer responded to 7-Eleven, located at 2058 U.S. Hwy. 27/441, regarding 32-year-old Brandon Tate Willman making threats and being physical around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb, 24, according to an arrest report from the Fruitland Park Police Department. Upon arrival, the officer found Willman being held down by several people due to his violent outburst and physical attack in the parking lot.

A witness stated he and another man were at 7-Eleven trying to figure out how to deal with a tow truck. They were also discussing an interaction with Willman from earlier in the night in Lady Lake. At that point, Willman showed up at the gas station, the report said.

Willman was already angry, starting to scream and cuss. He then walked up to the male victim and began to shove him. Seeing this, the witness and his companion ran over and took Willman to the ground to stop him from attacking. The victim helped them hold him down until the officer got there, the report said…
