A massive mixed-use development that could bring more than 2,000 new residential units, a sportsplex or outdoor entertainment venue, and nearly one million square feet of commercial space to southwest Ocala is heading before city officials for review on Monday.
The Ocala Planning and Zoning Commission will consider a request during its March 9 meeting to rezone approximately 251 acres located in the 3000 and 4000 blocks of SW 43rd Court.
