A Dade City man was arrested for battery after allegedly attacking his fiancée of six months when she caught him cheating.
An officer responded to a residence at Inspire Homes in Wildwood, regarding a domestic disturbance at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. The fiancée of 28-year-old Andre Tyrone Hordge told her sister that he had broken her jaw.
Upon arrival, the officer found the fiancée at the community pool. She explained that she had gone through Hordge’s phone and found out he was cheating on her. When she confronted him, he became angry and pushed her while headbutting her at the same time, the report said.
She pushed him back and accidentally scratched him, at which point he punched her with both hands about 10 times. She was holding their four-month-old daughter when Hordge started hitting her. She sustained discoloration on her face, a small cut on the side of her tongue and bruising on her forearms, the report said…
