An illegal alien was tasered while fleeing from law enforcement in The Villages.
Estanlin Leonel Salenas Calix, 36, of Orlando, was a passenger in a white Ford utility van at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday traveling on El Camino Real near the Village of Alhambra when a deputy noticed that that the driver, 22-year-old Jeremiah Hernandez, also of Orlando, was not wearing a seatbelt, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
