This Ocala fine dining restaurant is moving downtown. What’s the plan?

Chef Sean Langan heard the skeptics when he first opened Three Six Bistro in a tired little strip mall off Southeast 36th Avenue in Ocala less than two years ago.

They told him Ocala is a meat-and-potatoes town with an appetite that leans toward chicken fried steak rather than duck confit.

“People said that chef’s an idiot,” he recalls. β€œHe doesn’t know where he’s at. That place will never make it.”…
