The estate of a former resident at an Ocala rehabilitation center has filed a lethal negligence and wrongful death lawsuit against the business, alleging that systemic care failures led to his rapid decline in health and untimely death.
The complaint was filed by the estate of Arthur J. Stack, Jr. against The Lodge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County on March 13.
According to the complaint, Stack was admitted to the facility at 635 SE 17th Street in Ocala on October 15, 2023.
