A resident of Spruce Creek South was arrested with glass pipes after being stopped for driving with a suspended license.
An officer on patrol drove by a black Nissan Frontier parked in the driveway of a home on Devon Drive in The Villages around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The registered owner, 57-year-old Heather Oliver Jurgensen, was standing in the driveway next to it.
A check of the truck’s tag revealed her license had been suspended as of March 5, and she had two prior convictions for driving with a suspended license in Feb. 2024 and Jan. 2013. So, the officer parked down the street to keep watch. That truck then left the residence and made a left turn onto Dustin Drive, the report said.
After stopping the truck near Tarrson Boulevard, the officer found Jurgensen in the driver’s seat. An inventory of her vehicle revealed two glass pipes with residue, believed to have been used to ingest crack cocaine, under a pillow that Jurgesen had been sitting on.
