The Villages appears to be on the verge of a major evolution as residents could soon ease through the entrance gates without rolling down their windows and waving a card.
Last year, in a joint meeting between the Project Wide Advisory Committee and the Amenity Authority Committee, elected officials balked at the pricetag for installing long-range readers at the gates.
