In all the years I have been on earth, and it’s been many, I can not recall being subjected to so much unnecessary loud noise as I have in Marion County.
Our family moved here in 2014 and have had to deal with excessively loud music (that’s what some call it) either emitted from neighbors that were sometimes 1/2 a mile away or from vehicles passing by or sitting in someone’s yard.
I know there is a state statue that prohibits excessive noise emitted from a motor vehicle and there is also a county ordinance that limits noise emitted from private property…
